ESL has confirmed Natus Vincere's invitation to the $250,000 tournament held in Sydney, Australia. The Aussie event is scheduled to take place on May 1-6, with ESL officially announcing Natus Vincere as the sixth squad invited to the sixteen-team competition. The Ukranian-Russian roster kicked off 2018 with a couple of notable LAN results, finishing top four at ELEAGUE Major Boston and runners-up to MOUZ at StarSeries i-League Season 4 despite the efforts of Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's MVP performance, who has been the hot topic to talk about due to the recent SK report. IEM Sydney will feature the same format used at IEM Katowice earlier in the year, which will begin with two eight-team double-elimination groups.
